Automation Expo North 2026

Assembly Automation Zone

A dedicated floor for the machines that build everything else — robotic cells, feeding and handling, fastening, machine vision and line software, running under load rather than sitting on a plinth.

Three days at Pragati Maidan, with the engineers who commission these lines standing next to them.

Why exhibit here

One floor, one buying intent

Nobody wanders into this zone. Visitors arrive with the problem already written down — a bottleneck on line 3, a quality escape that keeps returning, a manual station that can't scale past the next order.

They come to specify, compare and buy. Exhibiting here puts your equipment in front of them at that exact moment: launch a product, run a live demo, qualify leads on the stand and build integrator relationships across North India's manufacturing belt.

What's on show

One line, six stations

The zone is laid out the way a part actually moves through a plant — fed, handled, joined, checked, recorded, then handed to whoever owns the whole cell. Walk it in order, or go straight to the station you came for.

Everything in this zone runs under load. No plinths, no rendered video loops.

Take a stall in this zone
  1. Feeding & handling

Parts have to arrive at the station oriented and on time, or nothing downstream works. Bowl and flexible feeders, conveyors, pick-and-place, gantries and transfer systems.

    • Bowl feeders
    • Flexible feeders
    • Conveyors
    • Gantries
    • Pick-and-place
  2. Robotics & cobots

The arm that does the work. Six-axis and SCARA cells, collaborative arms for mixed-model production, and the end-of-arm tooling that decides whether any of it actually grips.

    • 6-axis cells
    • SCARA
    • Cobots
    • Grippers
    • End-of-arm tooling
  3. Fastening & joining

Where a pile of parts becomes an assembly. Torque-controlled screwdriving, press-fit and riveting, dispensing, welding and bonding — with a result recorded per unit.

    • Screwdriving
    • Press-fit
    • Riveting
    • Dispensing
    • Welding
  4. Vision & inspection

The station that stops a bad unit reaching dispatch. In-line vision, dimensional gauging, leak and function testing, and AI-assisted defect detection.

    • In-line vision
    • Gauging
    • Leak testing
    • Function testing
    • Defect detection
  5. Traceability & line software

Proof the unit was built the way you say it was. Serialisation and marking, MES and SCADA connectivity, OEE dashboards and the data layer that ties the floor together.

    • Serialisation
    • Marking
    • MES
    • SCADA
    • OEE dashboards
  6. Line integration

Somebody has to own the whole cell. Turnkey stations, palletised transfer, safety and guarding, and integrators who sign up for the cycle time rather than the parts list.

    • Turnkey cells
    • Palletised transfer
    • Safety & guarding
    • Integrators
Reasons to visit

Four things you can only do on the floor

See it under load

Watch cells run real cycles with real parts. Cycle time, changeover and repeatability are far easier to judge in front of the machine than in a datasheet.

Compare in an afternoon

Competing systems for the same station sit a few aisles apart. Shortlist in hours instead of scheduling months of vendor visits.

Talk to the people who commission

Application engineers and integrators are on the stand, not behind a contact form. Bring your part drawing and get a straight answer on feasibility.

Plan the next phase

Map a full upgrade path in one visit — feeding, assembly, inspection and traceability from suppliers who already work together.
